I don’t ask for a lot from Tumblr, but I am going to ask this one time. It’s not for me, it’s for the kids. Next month my school, The Ohio State University, will be hosting Buckeyethon; a 24 hour dance marathon that raises money for the cancer ward at Nationwide Children’s hospital. Last year we raised $454,826 and we’d really like to top it. In order to dance in this marathon and take part of one of the most inspiring, motivational, and rewarding experiences at my university I have to raise $100.
So, here’s what I’m asking. I’m asking you to help me. To donate, I don’t care how much you do; any little amount helps. If you decide to donate, message me letting me know and I’ll write your current tumblr name on the yellow shirt I’ll be wearing that night. I know it’s a very little incentive but think of it as you’ll be with me that night. You’ll be helping me help the kids.
I have 300+ followers, if each of you just donates a dollar I’ll have more than enough. Please, just take the time to consider, and thank you for taking the time to read this.
